Stephanie is the Owner and CSEP Clinical Exercise Physiologist at Niagara Exercise Therapy. With over 15 years of experience in the field of rehabilitative exercise, she is deeply passionate about helping individuals of all ages improve their health, mobility, and quality of life.
She graduated with Honours from Brock University with Bachelor of Kinesiology. While at Brock she worked completed an independent study and a thesis in the Older Adult Balance Lab, where she first discovered her passion for working with older adults and their personal fitness needs. She learned the profound impact that balance, gait training, and rehabilitative exercise can have on people’s lives. Since then, she's been dedicated to improving the well-being of her clients through personalized, evidence-based exercise programs that deliver functional results.
Driven by her commitment to providing the highest level of assessment, exercise prescription, and health counselling for her clients, she pursued post graduate education in Exercise Science for Health and Performance at Niagara College. She honed her skills in clinical practice to become a registered Clinical Exercise Physiologist (CSEP),the gold standard in exercise science.
Over the years, she's had the privilege of working in a variety of settings—including private clinics, hospitals (in-patient and out-patient), home care, schools, recreation centers, and long-term care and retirement homes. This experience has given her a deep understanding of the unique needs of different populations, from children to adults, athletes, and special populations dealing with chronic conditions or injury.
She continues to expand her knowledge to better serve clients and ensure they get the best possible outcomes, whether they are recovering from injury, managing a chronic condition, or simply striving to feel their best.
